Students are not required to show to ride with us! Students interested in showing may find additional information and links to the season schedule below. Students may apply to ride or groom directly from the show or event listing.

Hunters and Jumpers

Phoenix Farms Show Day Fee for Hunters/Jumpers $100

includes trailering up to 50 miles, horse use, and coaching

$25 per additional 50 miles

NTEC Shows

A good start for students, this circuit does not require formal show attire. Offering flat classes and 18” crossrails, competitors can earn points to compete for year end awards. Year end high point is also available for Walk/Trot students under 13. Classes are generally appropriate for Green through Yellow Level.

NTHJC Shows

Offering classes in Hunters and Jumpers, members earn points and may compete for year end awards, as well as scholarships. Availability of Walk/Trot classes vary by show. Tall boots and jackets are required, and may be rented from the barn if available. Classes are generally appropriate for Green Level and higher.

Non-member Fee $20 (memberships available for $40 a year)

EMT/Office/Scholarship Fee $15

Entry Fee per Class (divisions are 2-3 classes) $20

Grounds Fee (dependent on show location) $35

Cross Country Schoolings

Phoenix Farms Schooling Day Fee $100

includes trailering up to 50 miles, horse use, and coaching

$25 per additional 50 miles

Students can attend cross country schoolings regardless of intent to compete. These schoolings allow for students to experience the excitement of cross country without the pressure of competition. Courses are usually open the day before an event, and additional schooling opportunities are available throughout the year. Students intending to compete in an event must attend the schooling prior to their event. Protective vests and medical armbands are required. Schoolings are generally appropriate for Yellow Level and higher.

NTEA Events

These events are held in Texas and participants are eligible for year end high point awards, scholarships, and other special awards. Points in recognized Area V events are also tracked for an additional opportunity at end of year high point recognition. Members receive discounts on registration fees as well as discounts with local NTEA partners. Tall boots, jackets, protective vests, pinny holders, and medical armbands are required. Events are generally appropriate for Yellow Level and higher.

Yearly membership fee for 21 and younger $27

Yearly membership fee for 22 and older $37

USEA Events

Recognized Area V events are held in Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. Competitors have opportunities for year end high point awards and championships. Memberships are required to compete and offer discounts to affiliates nationwide. Tall boots, jackets, protective vests, pinny holders, and armbands are required. Events are generally appropriate for Red Level and higher.
